Katelyn will join Chicago a cappella singing this program, co-created and narrated by Deke Sharon, the heralded “Father of Contemporary A Cappella” and music director of “Pitch Perfect,” The History of Harmony is the story of vocal harmony from the early 20th century to today. Katelyn will join Patrick Dupre Quigley, director of the Miami-based ensemble Seraphic Fire, returning to lead the Music of the Baroque Chorus and Orchestra in a musical marriage of the earthly and the sublime. Dance in your seat to the visceral rhythms of Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1 and lose yourself in the palpable chill of “The Frost Scene” from Purcell’s King Arthur. Katelyn will join Music of the Baroque in an intimate and deeply human account of Christ’s betrayal, suffering, and death, Bach’s Passion According to St. John sets scripture and poetry in emotionally moving, expressively beautiful music. Spray Paint N' Sing
Katelyn will join Chicago a cappella at The Graff, a graffiti-inspired hidden gem gallery in Humboldt Park, for a unique all-ages, family-friendly holiday party featuring an interactive spray paint workshop led by Studio W.I.P., photo booth, raffle prizes, and, of course, SINGING!
